We recommend that disabled passengers park or are dropped off at the metered parking in front of the gift shop entrance. The accessibility ramp leads from the left front side of the building to a side museum entrance door. For your convenience, we recommend you call (717) 334-5678 upon arrival or send an accompanying guest through the gift shop entrance to alert us to the need of opening the museum side entrance door. We do have two programs in our museum that are not able to be equipped with ramps: our Hallway of American History and our Simulated Funeral Car. Both programs have three steps leading to their entrances. Any individual unable to access these programs will not be charged admission to enjoy the remainder of the museum.
With the exception of Service Dogs, please be aware that we do not allow dogs in the Lincoln Train Museum. We have made this decision in consideration of other visitors as well as in consideration of dogs. Please understand we have a simulated train ride among our museum programs and it has been our experience that some dogs have become upset on this ride and we have no way of predicting any individual dog's reactions. We are animal lovers, but please know we make no exceptions to this rule.
