It should be noted that well-known York Civil War historian/author Scott Mingus, Sr. was one of the participants. A special “Thank You” must be given to photographer Tom Miller for his hard work, as well as Hillary Hess, Visitor Service Manager of Steam Into History, Inc., for the use of the locomotive, and James Haney (their Abraham Lincoln reenactor on board that special excursion train that day), and Tammy Klunk, Director of the York County Parks and Recreation Department. The “trip back into time” was a fantastic and truly unforgettable one-of-a-kind experience for one and all!!!
